First Trip to the Zoo!

OK so obviously he's not going to remember this and really had no idea what was going on, but he liked the baby lions! And how cute is his hat?! Mommy and Daddy are just such big animal lovers that we have to expose him early! We made it around the whole zoo but it was very packed because it was the first nice day of the year. He had to be the cutest one there!

T and his constant companion, Blankie.

Well it's been a bit since we wrote last, Travis is now up to almost 16 lbs! We had to take him back to the dr. a couple of weeks ago to check on his reflux and get a new prescription. The medicine is very expensive though ($151 with insurance!) so Mommy is trying some other things at home, changing her diet and some other tricks she heard about to see if that helps. So far they seem to be working! He is a very happy baby and smiles all the time. He's a good sleeper and sleeps in bed with Mommy and Daddy every night so he can eat without really waking up. That will change in a month or so but we are all enjoying it right now! He is also trying to sit up, and is constantly chewing on his hands (just like his Daddy!) He also celebrated his first St. Patrick's Day, as you can see from the pictures. Our next adventure is our first trip home to Buffalo to see the rest of Mommy and Daddy's family. We'll be leaving the weekend of April 17th and can't wait to see everyone even if it's only for a couple of days. We will need lots of luck to get us through the 12 hour trip!

We're back!

So we had decided not to post things here any more because I wasn't sure any one was really reading this or keeping up with it, but my friend Amy and her cousin Christie convinced me to start back up again. So, here we are! I'm going to add some of his latest pictures and a video or two for your enjoyment.
Today it is very cold here so we are going to stay in and spend some quality time. Steve is off of work so it will be a good chance for us to all hang out and catch up :)

2 month check up

Travis had his two month visit today, complete with shots :(
He did really well, he only screamed for a second or two and then settled down. His doctor says he is above average for his weight and below average in his height, so he's basically a short fat bald guy. But he couldn't be any cuter! He's up to 12 lbs 14 oz and 22 1/2 inches in length. Doc says he is developing really well and has great head and muscle control for his age! Of course everybody has to stop and comment on his chubby cheeks!

He's Here!

Well most of you probably know by now, but baby Travis officially arrived a little over a week ago, December 26th. I am just now getting around to adding all of the details, it is hard having a new baby! The delivery was flawless, he made it very easy on mommy. We have been getting along great, he is a great eater and sleeper and just likes to snuggle. We're slowly getting used to our long nights together, and I'm finally able to get online and start sending pictures to people and updating my web pages. Enjoy the pics and thanks for coming back!
